Gainfully employed as of 12/15/08 with a job that is just what I wanted and need - well worth the wait. Maybe that is what the motto should be: well-worth the wait!
I should ask for e-mails when someone has commented! Sorry!!!
I will be working full-time, which I've never done but up to the challenge and it will be with HealthPartner's at the mothership building in Bloomington which is 5 minutes away.
The title is a Healthy Pregnancy Coordinator ensuring that pregnant women understand their care. So I will be talking and troubleshooting with pregnant women all day long. It will also mean marketing, attending meetings, LOW stress which I need right now.
I am really excited about this opportunity; aside from the job details the benefits are great and I feel so fortunate in the tough job market today.
A small part of me still pines for that practitioner opportunity but they just are not there.
It will take a couple of years to recover our losses but that is all behind us (me) -- maybe some ego issues but I'll work on them in therapy.
From Wiktionary http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/pariah: In the caste ridden society they were in lower strata, hence the derisive paraiah and pariah. Now, the term is used to describe an outcast in English.
It also pertains to the hawk that I see myself as.
EXPECTING THE BEST IN VIEW OF THE LESS THAN EXPECTED
