Tomorrow -- a new day

A "bumper sticker" from my youngest from Facebook; a good way to start my new adventure: my new job. I am excited, anxious and a lot of other emotions, too.

Hope

If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all - MLK, Jr.

Gainfully employed as of 12/15/08 with a job that is just what I wanted and need - well worth the wait. Maybe that is what the motto should be: well-worth the wait!

My Lifetime Motto

SECRETS?

The book that is.

Not real heavy reading and just reading the chapter outline after the chapters is all that you need to do.

PRINCIPLE OF THE SECRET: The law of attraction which is the law of creation and nature.

EXPECT IT! Not to use "want" or "don't want" it's "expected" or "not expected" --- because...

THOUGHTS ARE THINGS, TOO!! By Prentice Mulfurod: Every thought of yours is a real thing - a force.

Go with the universe of inclusion not exclusion

Be a secret shifter!!!!!

Have expectations, gratitude, giving thanks and visualization to name a few.

Give attention and energy to what is important to you - life is meant to be abundant. Live on purpose! EXPECT IT!!!

Short, sweet and simple

Today is another anniversary. It celebrates the day we met 32 years ago of which 27 have been of marriage. Thirty-two is also our ages at the birth of our youngest.

It makes me wonder just how much longer do we have to celebrate anniversaries of any kind?

At 50 - Life Expectancy according to 2005 statistics

You are expected to live to 83 years old. 50 percent of the time you will die between 75 and 92 years of age. Retrieved August 5, 2008 from:

http://gosset.wharton.upenn.edu/mortality/

Gee, I can remember 25 years back and 42 years back. Of course, the above is based on health risks not trauma, etc. The upenn site is a reputable source aka University of Pennsylvania.

Never argue with an idiot; they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." ~ anonymous

you get what you need." The Rolling Stones

Risk taking is free:

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk rejection.
To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken...
because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.
He may avoid suffering and sorrow,
but he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or love.
Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave.
He has forfeited his freedom.
Only a person who takes risks is free.

-Author Unknown

This seems like an appropriate verse to start with...
